Yesterday, I promised you that Mistral would get it's own post!! Yes it is that good. Mistral really has it figured out. Beautiful interior decorating, beautiful food presentation, and beautifully tasting dishes! I was in brunch heaven.
The sun was actually shining this past Sunday (which has been rare the past few months), so the bright, breezy, organic style inside Mistral really fit the "springy" mood I was already in.
When you walk in the door you are greeted by a large clock - but it doesn't tell time... Maybe to say to you - time does matter here? or take your time and enjoy yourself?
{I love the lemons, the green, the wood, the whole organic feel}
{I haven't been here for the nightlife - but I have a feeling it would be just as good}
{extra large windows with bright yellow curtains - gave a warm glow throughout}
{you are greeted with apple jam and sweet butter to go with your own personal coffee cake}
One of my favorite parts about brunch are the fruity cocktails...however Mistral doesn't just offer the classic Mimosa and Bloody Mary - they give you a few more fun options.
{I chose the Sangria - which was a little strong for a Sunday morning at 11am!}
{ohhhh....just some sticky buns.....}
Paul didn't hold back - but he did say they aren't as good as his mom's...which I agree! - nothing like homemade. :)
Let me just say we definitely overindulged.....which we love to do at brunch...especially since we had a $40 gift card! At the end of our meal - our waiter sarcastically asked us if we would like anything else... we said yes...some coffee please!!!
{belgium waffle with fresh berries}
{and real maple syrup}
{steak and eggsssss}
{my frittata - nothing else was going to fit on our table}
{why leave dessert for dinner? - above is my version of breakfast dessert}
{someone finished everything - shocking! haha - we needed a nap immediately}
{the aftermath - yes that is maple syrup all over the table... oops!}
thank you Mistral, thank you. everything was wonderful :)
