{this duffle bag is on now my birthday wish list}
Last night, I complimented a friend's backpack and asked her where she got it (I'm searching for a good brand). She told me it was Krochet Kids, and promptly showed me the inside label, where the signature of the woman who made it was placed. I loved the style and loved the message. Later, I checked out the website and was amazed at the stylish, good quality and variety the brand offered. The idea is that what makes something valuable is the person that made it, their craft or skills place value in the product. You can actually send a thank you message to the lady, from countries like Peru and Uganda, that made your item. Check out more products and read more about the company here: krochetkids.org
"Every product we make is hand-signed by the person who made it. Women and thier families are being empowered through the products made at krochet kids intl and the programs we provide." - Krochet Kids Intl.
{would love to wear this on my upcoming trip to nashville}
{this is the bag that got my attention last night}
{they have great clothing for both men and women}
{Paul just bought a pair of similar sweats from bonobos, but now I'm wishing we had spent our money on Krochet Kids - next time!}
*They also have a ton of hand knit winter accessories for women, men and children(!) but I couldn't bring myself to write about winter clother after the winter we just had in Boston. BUT it will be on my radar come November ;)
